About
A small studio, on purpose.
We stay small enough that the person who scopes your project is the person who writes the code.
How we started
MB Softworks grew out of a simple problem: a bootcamp needed a real way to track student progress through a structured curriculum, and spreadsheets weren't going to hold. So we built one — role-gated dashboards, cohort tracking, assignment review, the whole system, from scratch.
That project became the template for how we like to work: understand exactly what a team needs, build the minimum system that actually solves it, and make it something non-technical staff can run without us in the room.
We turned that practice outward — toward founders who need to move at startup speed, and toward the schools, bootcamps, and departments that need software built to run for years, not just to demo well once.
How we work
Four things that don't change per project.
Direct access
You talk to the engineers building your product, every time — not an account manager relaying updates.
Ship weekly
You see working software every week in a real environment. If there's nothing to show, that's the conversation.
Own what we build
We hand off systems designed to be maintained by your team, not ones that quietly require us forever.
No overselling
If a six-week estimate needs ten, we say so in week two — not week six.
Want to work with us directly?
No sales layer. Tell us what you're building and you'll hear back from the people who'd actually build it.
